About Little Miss Nigeria
Little Miss Nigeria is Nigeria’s premier pageant platform dedicated to the development and empowerment of the girl child. Through pageantry, leadership exposure, education advocacy, and cultural representation, we nurture confident, intelligent, and socially conscious young girls prepared to lead and inspire.
At its core, Little Miss Nigeria is more than a competition. It is a national platform designed to celebrate excellence, build character, and give young girls the opportunity to discover their voice, confidence, and purpose. We believe pageantry can be a powerful tool for growth when rooted in values, responsibility, and positive representation.
Each edition brings together outstanding young girls from across all 36 states, reflecting Nigeria’s diversity while upholding culture, discipline, and leadership. Our queens and ambassadors serve as role models, representing integrity, courage, and service within their communities.
Little Miss Nigeria is committed to raising a generation of young queens who are equipped to lead, inspired to excel, and celebrated for their unique brilliance.
Our Vision
To be Nigeria’s premier stage for excellence through pageantry; raising young queens who command the future through character, culture, and courage.
We envision a nation where every girl child is equipped to lead, inspired to excel, and celebrated for her unique brilliance.
Purpose
We exist to give the Nigerian girl child a voice and a vision.
Our purpose is to nurture young queens who are as intelligent as they are courageous, using the prestige of pageantry to champion education and self-discovery. Through Little Miss Nigeria, we empower every girl to express herself boldly and become an ambassador for positive change in Nigeria.
Our Mission
To empower the Nigerian girl child by providing a prestigious pageant platform that nurtures confidence, leadership, education, and self-expression, while celebrating culture, character, and excellence.
Background
Little Miss Nigeria was established by Nihi in 2016, the Nigerian-born entrepreneur and the social rights activist Oladele John Nihi. It serves as an empowering pageantry platform for young Nigerian girls that aims to enhance their self-esteem, integrity, and national identity.
It is currently a subsidiary of the Oladele John Nihi Foundation, which recently appointed Mrs. Mary Lawal as the new Coordinator to lead a rebranded mission focused on women and children’s advocacy.
